Private and Semi-Private Lessons
Piano - Guitar - Bass - Drums - Violin - Viola - Voice

Your student may begin lessons anytime during the year.

The following fee structure includes 46 lessons and 2 recitals for the teaching year beginning September, 2009.
Tuition Private:  
Half hour lessons: $20/lesson
12 payments of $76.75 ($875 if paid in full - 5% discount)
45 minute lessons: $27/lesson
12 payments of $103.50 ($1180 if paid in full - 5% discount)
One hour lessons: $36/lesson
12 payments of $138 ($1573 if paid in full - 5% discount)
Tuition Semi-Private: - 2 students together at the same skill level
Half hour lessons: $13/lesson
12 payments of $49.80 ($568 if paid in full - 5% discount)
45 minute lessons: $17/lesson
12 payments of $65 ($743 if paid in full - 5% discount)
One hour lessons: $22.30/lesson
12 payments of $85.50 ($974.70 if paid in full - 5% discount)
Lessons are month to month with no long term contract, just a 2 month minimum. The above fee structure is based on a yearly average (September-August) taking into account holidays, etc. If a student does not complete a year of lessons, the final payment will be based on the number of lessons actually taken.
Withdrawal Policy:
Lessons are month to month with no long-term contract. We simply require a 30-day notice to discontinue lessons and a 2 month minimum. To withdraw from lessons a parent or adult student must complete and sign a withdrawal form provided by the school office. All automatic bank debiting or credit/debit charges will stop after the 30-day period. If you have paid the last month in advance you will not be charged for the last 30-day period. There may be an adjustment one way or the other for your last payment based on the number of lessons actually taken in the teaching year.


Piano / Keyboard

Private and semi-private lessons are available for beginning through advanced students. Lessons are available afternoons, evenings, and weekends; please call to schedule the time that is best for you.

We focus on reading music, proper fingering techniques, becoming familiar with a keyboard, and basic music theory instruction. The Mayron Cole Method will be used in most cases.

Materials: $22 Mayron Cole Piano Book, if needed
$7 Goal Book

Guitar / Bass

Private and semi-private guitar lessons are available for ages 7 - adult. Students will learn basic note reading, chord progressions, and tablature as they develop the skills necessary for advanced playing. Once the basics are learned, students can choose the type of music they would like to play.

Materials: $11 Hal Leonard Guitar/Bass Book
$7 Goal Book  
Students must bring their own guitar and picks.
We do have guitars available for rent or purchase.

Drums & Percussion

Our motto "If you can count to 4, we can teach you to play the drums."

Our drum lessons are designed to enlighten and challenge drummers of all skill levels. It doesn't matter if you are a complete beginner (with no sense of time at all), or if you have been playing for a few years and your looking for new beats and fills. These drum lessons will show you how to play the drums with more confidence!

We can evaluate a students' natural ability to play drums and give you great tips on buying drum equipment that matches your budget. You can get started without having to purchase an expensive set of drums, we will show you how. We can help you set up a drum set so the student can practice without being a sound nuisance in your home.

Violin / Viola

These lessons are for anyone, ages 6 - adult, who wants to learn how to play the violin or viola.  The teaching style will center on the following skills: focus and concentration, listening and observation, note reading and proper technique, repetition and positive reinforcement for continue progression.

In addition to private lessons, the students will be given the opportunity to perform for one another in small groups, and with an accompanist throughout the learning process allowing social interaction.  

Materials: $7 Goal Book
Cost for Violin Book to be determined.
Students must bring their own instrument.
We do have violins available for rent or purchase.

Voice

Private lessons are available for adults and children 6 years and older. They are available, upon request, for beginning and intermediate students. Lessons are available afternoons, evenings, and weekends; please call to schedule the best time for you.

We focus on proper techniques for warming up the voice, using the correct speaking voice, developing strong and healthy breathing, articulation, enunciation, pitch, and phonation techniques; as well as broadening a singer's repertoire.

Materials: $22 - voice binder, goal book, tape for recording
lessons and music, storage pouch, 2 pencils and accompanist fee for recital practice.
